Red Roof's 'Room In Your Heart' Initiative Supports Service Dog Access

Red Roof®, a leader in the lodging industry, has announced its continued partnership with Canine Companions® through the 'Room In Your Heart®' program.

 

This collaboration aims to provide service dogs to individuals with disabilities while offering travelers significant discounts.

 

From February 2 to February 26, 2026, guests booking stays at Red Roof Inn®, Red Roof PLUS+®, HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof®, or The Red Collection® properties can save up to 15% on their accommodations.

 

Additionally, 5% of the purchase price from each stay will be donated to Canine Companions.

 

To participate, guests should use VP Code 628903 when booking directly.

 

Jeanine Konopelski, Chief Marketing Officer at Canine Companions, emphasized the growing national need for highly trained service dogs.

 

She noted that the partnership with Red Roof addresses this need by enabling travelers to support expanded access to service dogs for people with disabilities while enjoying benefits during their stay.

 

Since its founding in 1975,  Canine Companions has placed over 8,400 service dogs with individuals with disabilities, enhancing their independence and quality of life.

 

Red Roof's Senior Director of Marketing, Julie Sukosd, expressed the company's commitment to supporting Canine Companions through the 'Room In Your Heart' program.

 

She highlighted the life-changing work of Canine Companions and the opportunity for guests to contribute to this mission during their February stays.

 

Previous 'Room In Your Heart'  campaigns have supported various organizations, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, No Kid Hungry®, United Way Worldwide®, American Cancer Society®, The Thurgood Marshall College Fund®, and the USO®.
